Cirella di Diamante – Virtual reality tour

The Ruins of Cirella are the remains of the ancient village of Cirella, located on a hill, at about 172 meters above sea level.

The ancient center was built starting from 850, in full Lombard period, in a hilly position to protect the population from the continuous Saracen raids. It was definitively abandoned in 1808, after being destroyed by the French troops of General Massena.

The ruins cannot be physically visited today, so the municipality of Diamante has commissioned Officina Kreativa to create a virtual museum thanks to which it is possible to virtually visit the ruins, interact with the environment, and live a unique experience enriched by a virtual scenography inside the museum, created with the technique of architectural video mapping.
