On November 18th and 19th, 2019, the exhibition “La Grande Bellezza” took place in Matera – a distinctive and innovative showcase. Through a virtual journey, attendees could immerse themselves in a parallel world and discover the role that artisans have played over the years, influencing the history of the involved territories.
The project “La Grande Bellezza” highlighted the primary artistic craftsmanship artifacts through new digital technologies, with the aim of informing the world that there is a new way to learn about the past and its traditions! A more enjoyable and simpler way.
Officina Kreativa developed the entire virtual reality experience for the client.
Finally, we produced the video mapping show for the opening and closing of the event. Video mapping is an animation technique that transforms any type of surface into a display. It involves projecting animations onto flat or complex surfaces such as polygons or buildings. Thanks to this technique, incredible scenographies or real 3D digital shows that generate the so-called “wow effect” can be created.
