The Virtual Agorà association aims to create a perfect synergy between technological innovation and social innovation. At the heart of the project is a traveling museum based on a virtual experience titled: Pitagora VR – The Body and the Soul. Wearing the headset, the viewer will be transported into the past and can listen to the philosopher’s stories.
When Pythagoras arrived in Krotone, the great Magna Grecia city was in a period of depression due to the recent defeat against the small Locri. Pythagoras proposed to uplift society and reform all men so that Crotone could shine again. Our virtual Pythagoras has the same intention, and by narrating his story and the various peculiarities of Pythagorean philosophy, he will seek to reform the current Crotone, which even today requires restructuring in various aspects.
The project is an initiative of a group of young people from the city of Crotone following their participation in Giovani e Futuro Comune, an idea by Goodwill, in collaboration with Fondazione Con Il Sud, Fondazione Vodafone Italia, Talent Garden Cosenza, Gioffoni Innovation Hub, Lavoradio, Heroes, and 012 Factory.
